QleanAir Holding AB (publ), the premium provider of solutions for clean indoor air, announces a third large order for HEPA 14 air cleaning units from the school sector in Germany, worth approximately 365 TEUR.

The new order consists of a one-year rental contract worth approximately 365 TEUR for FS 30 HEPA air cleaners that will be delivered during the first part of 2021 to a school district in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. This is the third major order from the school sector in Germany. The first order worth 500 TEUR was announced on December 10th and the second one worth 490 TEUR on January 5th. These orders are among the largest in the history of QleanAir within the Facility Solutions segment.

- The awareness of the importance of healthy indoor air is spreading in Germany, especially in schools where ventilation often is less than optimal. We are pleased that our air cleaning solutions can contribute to safe and sound school premises, says Tobias Willi, Managing Director of QleanAir GmbH.
In several German regions, the local government is funding investments in air quality in schools as a complement to substandard ventilation. Air cleaning with HEPA 14 filters reduces the concentration of virus, bacteria, and other pollutants in the air, and is recommended by Technische Universität in Berlin and the German ECDC.

- At QleanAir we are proud to provide safer and more secure indoor environments for customers severely impacted by the pandemic, such as schools. By enabling schools to open up, we also contribute to society being able to open up, something we are all longing for, says Christina Lindstedt, Chief Executive Officer, QleanAir.

Both FS 70 HEPA and FS 30 HEPA were launched during 2020, and are designed to reduce the levels of virus, bacteria, and other hazardous particles in the air. The units are designed for environments with high demands on efficient air cleaning and low sound levels, such as health care facilities, schools, workplaces, and public spaces.
